Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra design leaked: can you spot the difference?

Images have surfaced of the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra. Grab your magnifying glass because the design differences with the Galaxy S22 Ultra seem to be very small, but really very small.

Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra

The Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra will be Samsung’s new flagship for 2023. There have been quite a few rumors about the phone before. For example, the S23 Ultra would again run on an Exynos chipset, get a 200 MP main camera, get the same telephoto lenses as its predecessor and be announced in February next year. A concept of the S23 Ultra has already appeared, with this concept we saw that the device would have strongly curved screen edges and a renewed camera island.

However, new renders of the device have now appeared. On these images, which have been shared by the well-known rumor spreader OnLeaks, we see that the device hardly differs from its predecessor in terms of design.

Only larger bezels around the camera?

As you can see from the images above and below, the S22 Ultra and the S23 Ultra are very similar. According to OnLeaks, only the aluminum edges around the cameras are larger, the telephoto lenses are deeper in the housing and the screen edges of the S23 Ultra are a bit thinner. If this turns out to be true, then unfortunately we see little innovation in the upcoming Galaxy S23 Ultra in terms of design.

The ‘regular’ Galaxy S23 and the Galaxy S23+ will, according to rumors, look different compared to their predecessors. These devices will be closer in design to the S22 Ultra and S23 Ultra. That’s because the camera island disappears. We wrote an article about this yesterday, and you can find the images here.

What do you think of the fact that the S23 Ultra might look almost the same as its predecessor? Let us know in the comments below this article.
