Galaxy S23 announcement on February 1?

The otherwise well-informed source IceUniverse speaks up again. The source is talking about the announcement date of the new Galaxy S23 series devices. The three models that go by the names S23, S23+ and S23 Ultra should be announced on the first day of February. This means that we should see Samsung’s new smartphones in less than a month and a half. There have been several reports that the announcement of the S23 series would take place in early February. Now a specific date is mentioned.

Samsung is rumored to use Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset for the Galaxy S23 series worldwide. Interesting, since Samsung now has a dichotomy, where, for example, we see the S-series in Europe with its own Exynos chipset. These would be less efficient with various things, including the battery. Samsung would give the Galaxy S23 and S23+ a 50MP main camera, the S23 Ultra possibly a 200-megapixel lens. The battery of the S23 and Plus model should be a fraction larger than the current S22 series.
