Samsung Galaxy S23 and S23 Ultra now also appeared in renders

After we already saw the renders of the Samsung Galaxy S23+ on Wednesday morning, it is now the turn of the S23 and S23 Ultra. Is the device different from its predecessor?

Galaxy S23 Ultra in renders

We already wrote about the Galaxy S23+ renders this morning, now it’s time for the next batch of renders, namely of the Galaxy S23 Ultra. The new device, which will also be equipped with the S Pen, appears thanks to leaker OnLeaks. He shares renders of the smartphone based on the information known so far.

The new model will measure 163.4 x 78.1 x 8.8 millimeters. This differs little from the Galaxy S22 Ultra, which appeared last year, which had the dimensions 163.3 x 77.9 x 8.9 millimeters. It also seems that the design of the Ultra is very similar to that of its predecessor. However, the two small sensors on the back are more recessed in the housing. The metal frame of the curves is somewhat larger and the screen is slightly less curved on the side.

Samsung will equip the Galaxy S23 Ultra with a 200MP camera, just like the recently released Motorola Edge 30 Ultra. It is also expected that the device will receive a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, or its own Exynos chipset. Much is still unclear about the charging speed; according to the latest reports this would be 25W, but this seems unlikely to us, as the S22 Ultra already offers 45W charging.

Galaxy S23

We also see the Samsung Galaxy S23 in renders. In terms of design, this corresponds to that of the Galaxy S23+ that appeared this morning. The smartphone will have a 6.1-inch screen and a slightly larger housing than the S22. The Galaxy S23 measures 146.3 x 70.8 x 7.6 millimeters. The current model is 146.0 x 70.6 x 7.6 millimeters, so we won’t notice that difference.

It remains to be seen whether the renders give the correct representation of the new Galaxy S23 series. After all, there is still a long time to go until the announcement of the Galaxy S23.
