Samsung Galaxy S22 spotted in the color ‘Bora Purple’

Lovers of Samsung and of the color purple will soon be overjoyed. The Samsung Galaxy S22 has been spotted in a new purple color. The new color option will most likely be available for all S22 series devices. What do we think of the new color?

Bora Purple

The S22 devices have been on the market for about six months now. As of release, the S22 and S22+ will be available in Phantom Black, Green, Pink Gold and Phantom White colours. The S22 Ultra is available in Phantom Black, Phantom White, Burgundy, Green. According to Winfuture, a color must now be added to all these devices: ‘Bora Purple’.

And it doesn’t stop here, according to the German website, Samsung will also use the color for the Galaxy Buds 2 Pro, Galaxy Z Flip 4 and the Galaxy Z Fold 4.

New for flagships

The color purple is certainly not new for Samsung. The Galaxy S21(+), Galaxy Buds Pro, Galaxy S21 FE and the Galaxy Z Flip 3, among others, received a purple color. However, Samsung often does not choose to provide their premium flagship with such a striking color. For example, the S21 Ultra, Note 20 Ultra, Z Fold 3 and the S22 Ultra all had fairly safe color options. According to Winfuture, this is now changing.

And this is nice for people who want to buy the best of the best from Samsung, and also want to have access to a striking color.

Availability

According to the German website, the color Bora Purple will be released for the S22 series in the coming weeks. Prices and specifications should be the same as current models. Also Ice Universe posted a message about an upcoming purple variant of the S22 series, so the color seems to be really coming.
