Samsung Galaxy S22 series gets major April update

Samsung is rolling out a new update for the Samsung Galaxy S22 series. It is a major update that includes the April patch and a series of improvements. The update is available for all three models.

April update for Galaxy S22 series

Samsung is rolling out a new update for the Samsung Galaxy S22, the Galaxy S22+ and the Galaxy S22 Ultra in the Netherlands and Belgium. All three models receive a major update, which in the case of the S22 Ultra is no less than 1.5GB. In the changelog we see that the overall stability has been improved, as well as the security.

More details are not given. It is obvious that with this size a large number of improvements have been made in the background. We expect that problems with, for example, the GPS, which occurred with some users, will be solved with this update.

Interestingly, Samsung has included the April security update. This is the latest update available, and will not be announced by Google until next week. Then we will also better know what improvements and patches the update brings for Android.
