Samsung Galaxy S22 and S22 Ultra (and iPhone 13 Pro Max) in drop test

Dropping your brand new phone; it’s something you’d rather not happen to. Today’s smartphones are often made of more fragile materials. The new Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra and iPhone 13 Pro Max are subject to a drop test. How fast are they broken?

Drop test with Galaxy S22 Ultra

Samsung has had the Galaxy S22 Ultra in stores since last month, and since this month you can also go for the Galaxy S22 and S22+. YouTuber PhoneBuff has made a video in which the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra, together with the Apple iPhone 13 Pro Max, are subjected to a drop test. This looks at how a phone can suffer from a fall.

The Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra is made of metal, while the screen is of course made of glass. This continues on the sides. But does that also have drawbacks in practice? You can watch it in the video below. Good to know; the video starts at minute 02:00, that’s what advertising is for.

Then there is also a drop test of the Galaxy S22 itself. This puts the sum to the test whether a flat screen is better than a curved screen. You can also watch the video in question below. This is “thrown” from the hand.
