Samsung Galaxy S21 FE will receive the first update
The news from the South Korean giant Samsung Galaxy S21 FE, which was released last week, is already receiving the first software update. The company is still sending the news to stores around the world, so it is possible that this update will already be installed after unpacking the smartphone. The SamMobile website has released information about the upcoming update.
What will the new update bring to the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE?
The latest update to smartphones comes with a firmware designation G990EXXU1BUL5. The availability of the update is currently limited to Thailand, but we can certainly expect it to arrive in Europe soon.
The update includes a basic January security package that fixes a number of flaws and bugs. Other changes include routine bug fixes and system system stabilization.
If you already own or have ordered a Samsung Galaxy S21 FE, you can check for updates by clicking on the icon Settings – Software updates – Download and install. If you do not see any option to download the update, it means that it is not yet available or is already installed. For more skilled users, there is a manual installation using files from the Internet firmware database.
This model is coming to the market with the latest Android 12, but Samsung guarantees 3 major operating system updates. This means that its users can expect updates up to Android 15 and regular security updates will not be missing either.
The competition also does not forget about updates
Operating system updates on Android 12 are also being released by other companies, such as Samsung, for their Galaxy A52. Sony also does not lag behind and adds Android 12 to the Xperia 1 III and Xperia III smartphones. Asus, like other well-known brands, does not lag behind in releasing updates and brings the latest Android to the Asus ZenFone 8 and ZenFone 8 Flip smartphones.
