‘Samsung Galaxy S21 FE is scheduled for January, S22 for February’

There is new information about new smartphone models from Samsung. The manufacturer would not have planned a major announcement this year. We can expect something beautiful in a few months. It is about the Galaxy S21 FE and Galaxy S22.

Samsung Galaxy S21 FE in January

Much has already been written and said about the new Samsung Galaxy S21 FE. The Fan Edition of the S21 device would have been canceled earlier, but would then be announced again. Originally we should have seen the device in August 2021, but that did not happen. Although Samsung itself has not released anything about this, sources report that this was (partly) related to the chip shortage. Previous rumors also talked about the fact that the Galaxy Z Flip 3 is running so well that Samsung would like to use the production capacity for it.

We were very enthusiastic about last year’s Fan Edition in our Galaxy S20 FE review, and things seem to be moving forward. According to Sammobile colleagues, Samsung is now planning to announce the new Galaxy S21 FE in January of next year. The schedule is during the CES trade show in Las Vegas, which will be held between January 5 and 8. Manufacturers usually do not focus on the announcement of smartphones, so this is a great opportunity for Samsung to get the spotlights. Samsung itself has not yet responded to these messages.

The fact that there will be a Galaxy S21 FE does mean a postponement for another top device from the brand. The Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+ and Galaxy S22 Ultra will be announced later than planned. According to the reports, Samsung would like to do this in February. It is not yet known whether this will happen during the Mobile World Congress. Usually, Samsung opts for its own announcement, in order to get more attention for the device. Otherwise, it might be overshadowed by the presentations of the other brands. According to the latest rumors, it is an announcement from the beginning of February, the MWC will be held at the end of February.
