Samsung Galaxy S21 FE and Galaxy Note 20 series get One UI 4.1 update

A new update is being rolled out to several Samsungs. One UI 4.1 has been rolled out for several Galaxy devices since this week; now it’s the turn of the Galaxy S21 FE and Note 20 series.

One UI for S21 FE and Note 20

On Monday we already wrote that the S21 series, the Galaxy A52 and the Z Fold 3 were updated with the update to One UI 4.1, now it is the turn of the next batch of devices. The update to One UI 4.1 is being rolled out in the Netherlands and Belgium for the Galaxy S21 FE and the Galaxy Note 20 series. This means that the new software version is available for three models.

To start with, the Galaxy S21 FE, that device will also immediately receive the security update from March 2022. In addition, One UI 4.1, which brings various new functions. For example, the camera app has been expanded with improvements for portrait mode and portrait video. You can also use RAM Plus, which virtually adds more working memory. Several Samsung apps have been updated with improvements, including support for Color Palette in Notes and Health. Enhancements to GOS (Game Optimizing Service) help to fine-tune heat production and battery consumption while gaming. Furthermore, there is the Smart Widget that adds extra functionality.

As mentioned, the update is also available for the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 and the Note 20 Ultra. Both models will also receive the March security update from Samsung, along with the patches from Samsung.
