Samsung Galaxy S21 announcement is in February

The Samsung Galaxy S21 announcement may take place in February after all. Earlier it was said that Samsung would like to present the new smartphones in January.

Read on after the ad.

Samsung Galaxy S21 announcement February

This news is brought out by Android Headlines, which says their source has also proven very reliable in the past. That is at odds with previous news about an announcement date. According to previous rumors, the manufacturer would like to present the devices earlier than normal, namely in January 2021.

With such an early announcement, Samsung would like to trump the competition and present the first flagships of the new year. An exact date has not yet been stated. The S20 line was presented on February 11, 2020, while the S10 family was born on February 20, 2019.

The site also speculates that the processor likely to be in the Samsung S21 line has not yet been officially unveiled. This concerns the Snapdragon 875 chip from manufacturer Qualcomm. We do expect a proprietary Exynos processor in the European variants of the smartphones, just as is the case with the Galaxy S20 line.

Three Galaxy S21 models expected

Samsung has three Galaxy S21 devices in the pipeline. In addition to the entry-level model in the form of the S21, the Galaxy S21 Plus and S21 Ultra will probably also make their appearance. Rumors have it that only the Ultra will get a curved display. The colors in which the devices will be marketed have also been mentioned in the rumor circuit.

What the upcoming devices will look like is no longer a secret. Alleged renders of the Galaxy S21 and Galaxy S21 Ultra have already appeared before. That model, the most comprehensive, will probably also receive support for the S-Pen. Do you want to know what else the devices have in store?
