Samsung Galaxy S20 Series Updated With August Security Patch
Samsung is rolling out a new update for the three smartphones from the Galaxy S20 series. The S20, S20+ and the Galaxy S20 Ultra all receive the latest security update, namely that of August.
August update for Galaxy S20 series
Samsung previously released August security update for the Galaxy S21 and Galaxy S22 series. Now it’s the turn of the Galaxy S20 series, released two years ago. Theo informs DroidApp that the smartphone from the Galaxy S20 series will receive the latest update. Not only does the update contain the patches from Google itself; Samsung’s own patches have also been added to the update.
A few more things are highlighted in the changelog of the update. Samsung speaks here about the overall stability of functions that has been improved. It does not go into the details, with what exactly has been improved. We also see that some Samsung system apps have been updated to a new version. These include, for example, the voice recorder, the calculator and Samsung Health. The update has a total size of 238.32MB and can be downloaded from now on on the Galaxy S20, Galaxy S20+ and S20 Ultra. Later, the Galaxy S20 FE will also be updated.
