Galaxy S20 gets April update

A new update is ready for the three smartphones from the Samsung Galaxy S20 series. In recent days, many devices from the South Korean manufacturer have already been updated with the April 2022 security update, and now it is the turn of the Galaxy S20 series, Theo let us know.

The Samsung Galaxy S20, the Galaxy S20+ and the Galaxy S20 Ultra all receive the latest patch. These are not only the patches from Google, but also the patches from Samsung itself. This addresses several dozen vulnerabilities in Samsung’s software.

If we look at the changelog, we don’t see any new features or changes. We didn’t really expect that either. About two weeks ago, the smartphones were equipped with One UI 4.1, which already contained a lot of new functions. In addition, the three models have been running on Android 12 since January.
