Samsung Galaxy S20, S20+ and S20 Ultra get new July patch

The high-end smartphones from Samsung, from two years ago, are getting a new update. The July update is being rolled out for the Galaxy S20 series.

Galaxy S20: July Update

There is good news for the owners of the devices from the Samsung Galaxy S20 series. For the three models, the Galaxy S20, the Galaxy S20+ and the Galaxy S20 Ultra, the manufacturer has prepared the new security update from July, Theo tells DroidApp. The update not only brings the patches from Google, but also the specific patches from Samsung itself. Earlier this month, we published an overview of the improvements this entails.

The update for the Galaxy S20 series is approximately 205MB in size and will now be rolled out in the Netherlands and Belgium. Looking at the changelog we see no further changes or new features. Usually manufacturers do take this opportunity to immediately implement some bug fixes and the like. If you can download the update, you will receive a notification on your smartphone.
