Samsung Galaxy S20 FE and A52 get June update; improvements for Tab S8 series
Samsung is rolling out a new update for five devices. The Samsung Galaxy A52 and Galaxy S20 FE will receive a new security update and an update will also be distributed for the Galaxy Tab S8 series.
Galaxy S20 FE and A52 with new update
Samsung gives the Galaxy S20 FE and the Galaxy A52 a new security update. In recent days and weeks, Samsung has already released a new update for various models; where this was the latest security patch. The manufacturer is now also releasing June security update for the Galaxy A52 and the Galaxy S20 FE, Marianne said. This includes not only the Google patches, but also Samsung’s own improvements. There are no further changes in the changelog, except that only Samsung apps have been updated. Despite that, it’s a hefty update at nearly 800MB in size for the A52, and a 1.1GB major update for the S20 FE. Stability improvements are also made with the S20 FE.
Galaxy Tab S8
The models of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 series are also updated with a new update. This applies to the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8, the Tab S8+ and the Tab S8 Ultra. Remarkably, all three models are not yet updated with the June security update, but will receive another update. This is a stability update, we conclude from the information from Sander. That’s also what the changelog reports. It is an update of approximately 290MB. It is not exactly what improvements have been made by Samsung.
