Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G gets Android 13; Galaxy A53 with November update

Two Samsung smartphones are being updated. It concerns the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE, with the 5G model in particular. Android 13 is available for that. There is also a new update to download for the Galaxy A53.

Galaxy S20 FE is getting Android 13

The 4G version of the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE previously received the update to Android 13, now it’s the turn of a family member. The Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G will now finally receive the update to Android 13, together with One UI 5, Marianne informs us. The smartphone is updated with the new update, which also includes the November security update.

The update brings several innovations. There’s the Smart Suggestions widget that adapts to your usage. For the interface colors that match the set background, you now have more color options (color palette). You can now also set which language you want to use for each app, and you have more insight into your privacy and the security of your device. Samsung also supplies the devices with Maintenance Mode and includes various adjustments and improvements to the interface. This is about subtle details, including in the camera app.

Galaxy A53

At the beginning of November, the Samsung Galaxy A53 was updated with an update to Android 13. It then came with the October patch. Although it is a bit later than usual for the A53, the smartphone is now also equipped with a recent security patch. Security update December is being rolled out for this device. You can now download this for the Galaxy A53.
