Samsung Galaxy S10e, Note 10, A7 (2018), S5 Neo and Tab A 10.1 get update
Samsung has broadly opened the update gates for a lot of devices. We receive messages from various devices that are being updated with the necessary improvements, including several older smartphones. We summarize the details.
Updates at Samsung
Every month there are different updates from the Samsung factory. That is now also the case, with Samsung mainly rolling out the updates for a series of previously released devices. We already saw last week that updates were published for the Galaxy S8 and S7 series, as you could read in the Android Update Bulletin of week 33. Now it is time for the next batch of updates.
First up is the Samsung Galaxy S10e; that phone will be updated with security update August; an update that is not yet rolled out for the S10 and S10+. Those two devices were provided with the July update earlier this month. A similar update is also available for the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10+, with both devices also receiving stability improvements, according to the changelog. Sally knows to DroidApp to report that the Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2019) has also received an update; the July security update.
Older devices will also receive an update. Samsung also has a July security update ready for the Galaxy A7 (2018). Remarkably enough, the Samsung Galaxy S5 Neo, released in 2015, also receives an update. We see the same GPS update as for the aforementioned S7 and S8 series. No other changes have been made to this device.
