Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro needs to make Apple sweat
Will Samsung manage to make Apple sweat with the new Galaxy Buds Pro?
With the AirPods Pro, Apple is strongly represented in the wireless earpiece segment. But of course Apple is not alone. The brand has a number of competitors and Samsung is an important competitor in that area. Especially with the Galaxy Buds Pro launched today that competes with the AirPods Pro.
Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro
Samsung talks about a new generation of earplugs with sublime quality. Big words, but do the Koreans also know how to live up to it? You have active noise cancellation with the Buds Pro and there is support for ANC for high call quality during a phone call.
The earbuds contain an 11 mm woofer and a 6.5 mm tweeter. One of the microphones is equipped with a high signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) to filter background noise well. And what about Wind Shield technology. Even in stormy conditions you should still be able to make calls while a conversation remains clear. Ideal for Dutch weather conditions. There is also support for Dolby Head Tracking so that you can listen to music in 360 degrees.
Fully charged, you can use the earplugs for up to 8 hours. You also have 20 hours of reserve power in the wireless charging case. 5 minutes of charging means 1 hour of playtime thanks to quick charging.
The new Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro will be available from January 29 in Phantom Black, Phantom Silver and Phantom Violet for € 229. These colors correspond to the Galaxy S21 series also launched today.
