As you may have noticed, the South Korean giant Samsung is also among the leaders in terms of regular software updates. It also updates very old models from time to time, such as the Samsung Galaxy S8, which recently received an update five years after its official introduction. Now the Samsung Galaxy A71 smartphone is receiving the December security patch, which is also not one of the latest, but of course it is still one of the officially supported devices.

Samsung Galaxy A71 smartphone owners will now be pleased with the upcoming update, which brings with it the latest December security patch. The whole update is a large 233.98 MB, which means that downloading it should not be a problem even using a mobile data connection, provided you have a sufficient data package. The update availability notification should appear to you, but you can also check it manually in the settings, more specifically in the software updates section.

Other manufacturers don’t forget to update their phones either. It is worth mentioning, for example, the Huawei Mate 40 Pro, which, despite the absence of Google services, receives a December security update. OnePlus also takes care of its older models, and the OnePlus 7 and 7T series receive an update with December bug fixes. Finally, we will mention the Nokia X20, which users recently acquired, or will only get Android 12.
