A new update is being rolled out by Samsung for various devices. It concerns both the July and the June update that will be rolled out. Updates are available for the Galaxy A53, Note 10, Note 10+ and Galaxy Tab A8.

Updates at Samsung

Samsung has released a new update for some models. First of all, there is an update for the Samsung Galaxy A53. This recently released mid-end device will be updated with security update July 2022, the most recent patch from Google. Not only are the patches supplied by Google, but also Samsung’s own patches from July. Samsung further promises in the changelog that the stability of the camera has been improved and that the overall stability of the device has been improved. The update is approximately 423MB in size.

Galaxy Note 10(+)

The July security update is now also being rolled out to the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10+. This more than 200MB update addresses the vulnerabilities up to and including those of July. Other than that, we don’t see any new features or changes with this update.

Galaxy Tab A8

Finally, there is a new patch for the Samsung Galaxy Tab A8. The mid-end tablet gets a 493MB major update, but not the most recent one. We see the May security update coming in, about which Marco also informs us. Samsung talks about improved and new functions, but does not go into detail about this. At first glance, we don’t see any changes here either. Furthermore, some other improvements are made, as can be seen in the screenshot above.
