Samsung Galaxy A41, Moto G52 and G20 get January update; Nokia 3.4 and 5.4 December patch

Samsung, Motorola and Nokia are rolling out a new update for several devices. This is the case for the Nokia 3.4 and 5.4, and a new security update is also being distributed for the Samsung Galaxy A41. Motorola does this for the Moto G52 and Moto G20. We’ll talk about it in this article.

Samsung Galaxy A41 with January update

Arjaan informs DroidApp that his Samsung Galaxy A41 has been updated with a new update. Samsung gives the smartphone the new security update from January 2023. In recent weeks, several devices from the manufacturer have already been updated to the January update. The update addresses several dozen vulnerabilities in Android. In addition, Samsung has added its own patches to improve the security of its own Galaxy devices.

Motorola

We also see an update rolling in for two devices at Motorola. After a while ago the Motorola Edge 20 already updated to the January update. Two other models will now also be offered the update. This is the case for the Moto G52 and the Moto G20. The smartphones in question will see the January update coming in from now on, although it may take a while for all users to receive the new update.

Nokia

The roll-out of the January has not yet started with the Finns. We now see security update December 2022 coming in for two models of the brand. HMD Global is rolling out the December security update for the Nokia 3.4 and Nokia 5.4. The update is being rolled out in phases for the two smartphones, so it may take a while until everyone is offered the new update.
