Salt and Sacrifice – -apkrig
One of the unexpected but very pleasant surprises of this year’s E3 is the announcement of the continuation of the 2D salt and sanctuary from 2016. Developers from Ska Studios are preparing their new Salt and Sacrifice for next year, but in addition to the trailer they have already released a ten-minute video directly from the game. And there is definitely something to look at.
The novelty does not lose any of the typical stylization that the studio has held since the days of The Dishwasher: Vampire Smile for Xbox 360. Behind the hand drawn graphics is a complex RPG with eight playable classes, we already know that you can complete Salt and Sacrifice as Highblade, Paladin , Assassin, Cleric, Dualist, Fighter, Range or Sage. We would be surprised if the sequel did not contain a hugely branched tree of abilities like the first part, but unfortunately it is not visible in the video.
But what you can see is the giant mages that the protagonist will hunt in the story, and of course the other bosses. Salt and Sacrifice transfers the formula of Souls games to 2D, and although at first glance it may resemble a jumping platform, you will throw rolls here, cover yourself with a shield and hope that your equipment will withstand the hard blows of powerful enemies.
The new part will offer significantly improved multiplayer, now also with an online component, you can join the cooperative faction Dawnlight Order, or choose to hunt other players under the banner of the Shrouded Alliance. Salt and Sacrifice should be released next year, both on the PC and the current and last generation PlayStation.
