Salaries are highest in these 10 OECD countries

You do not talk about money. At least that seems to be a widespread assumption – especially in Germany. However, annual gross income can vary significantly at country level. We present you in our weekly ranking: the ten OECD countries with the highest salaries.

In 2021, the average income of German employees was 4,100 euros gross per month. But what about the annual salary of childless singles? The Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD for short) provides answers.

The data collected by the OECD on the labor market situation in its 38 member states provides information on how high the annual salary of childless employees will be in 2021. The Analysis Platform extra meanwhile converted and published the different currencies. In the following ranking we show you the results based on gross wages per year.

10th place: Belgium

50,000 euros per year is the average wage earned by childless employees in Belgium in 2021. That makes a net total of about 32,000.
