Replaced – -apkrig

This year’s E3 conference of Microsoft and Bethesda did not only focus on big names like Halo or Starfield. Smaller projects of independent studios, whose work will debut on the Xbox Game Pass service, have also been given space. One of them is Replaced, a cyberpunk platformer from Sad Cat Studios.

Replaced boasts a very impressive pixelart visual, the retro stylization further underlines the displeasure of dirty streets full of crime and violence. The game takes place in the retrofuturistic backdrop of the alternative 80’s, in which the world is still recovering from the devastating consequences of the failed Trinity nuclear test. it puts us in the role of artificial intelligence called REACH, which is trapped in the human body.

The authors mention the films Blade Runner 2049, Alien or Upgrade as a source of inspiration. Perhaps Replaced will be a sufficient replacement.

We can look forward to action-packed gameplay full of melee and ranged combat, as well as a successful soundtrack. Replaced is the very first game of developers from Sad Cat, targeting the PC and the current and past generation of Xboxes. The release date is set for next year.
