Release Beats Fit Pro: AirPods Pro Alternative

The order page for the Beats Fit Pro has been available on Apple’s Dutch website since Monday. At the moment they are not available to order yet, but according to the latest rumors they will be available from January 24th. The earphones have been available to order in the United States since November and will soon be officially for sale in the Netherlands and Belgium.

Beats Fit Pro vs AirPods Pro

When you look at the features of the Beats Fit Pro, you think you might have got your hands on the description of the AirPods Pro. However, these earphones (by Dre) have quite a different design. For example, the ‘stems’ are present, but with the Beats Fit Pro they are just raised and you put them ‘in’ your ear.

In addition, the Beats Fit Pro are available in other colors, including Beats Black (black), Stone Purple (purple), Beats White (white) and Sage Gray (grey). AirPods are only available in white.

As with the AirPods Pro, with the Beats Fit Pro you have the option to turn on adaptive active noise cancellation (ANC). This prevents unwanted ambient noises. Would you like to hear what is going on in your area? Then turn on Transparency mode. The microphone then picks up the ambient sounds around you and combines it with your music.

The earphones also support spatial audio with head tracking, with which the sound adapts as you move your head. This allows you to hear the sound from all sides and you get the feeling that you are right in the middle of it. Furthermore, the Beats Fit Pro are sweat and water resistant earphones (IPX4), just like the AirPods Pro.

Beats earbuds with H1 chip

The Beats Fit Pro are also equipped with the H1 chip. This has the advantage that ‘Hey Siri’ also works and that you can more easily connect between different devices. This allows you (just like with the AirPods) to quickly switch between your iPhone and MacBook.

With a full battery, you can listen to music for up to 6 hours. By regularly charging the earphones in the charging case, you add another 18 hours, for a total of about 24 hours of listening pleasure. Is the battery empty and do you need some music quickly? Put the Beats Fit Pro in the charging case for five minutes to charge, then you have another hour to listen to music.

Beats Fit Pro price

The Beats Fit Pro costs 229.95 euros in the Netherlands and Belgium. For a new set of AirPods Pro you will lose 279 euros at Apple.
