Firefox may be the most secure browser in the world (at least according to Mozilla), but it’s still prone to bugs like its counterparts. Indeed, two distinct bugs have particularly annoyed users in recent days, since they have been the cause of many untimely crashes of the application, which is moreover by carrying out recurring actions for certain users.
The former were caused by streaming video from a third-party device, such as a webcam, specifically on Macs running OS X 10.12 to OS X 10.14. The second, for their part, intervened when the user consulted his history. According to Mozilla’s latest report, the organization planned to fix these bugs in the next big browser update.

Nevertheless, the bugs were so recurrent that the organization decided to deploy an emergency patch with its next major update. So, by downloading version 108.0.2, you should be able to go to your history and use video playback without any worries. In addition, a slight fix regarding tab sharing on macOS is also in the game.

We therefore advise you to update your browser without delay. To do this, simply go to click on the drop-down menu at the top right of your window, then go to the section Assistance. Firefox will then automatically search for the latest updates and will offer you a restart to complete the installation. Once installed, the crashing issues will disappear. Firefox 109, for information, is scheduled for January 17th.
