Popular cult series will soon come to an end

Unfortunately, fans of the cult series Archer have to deal with bad news: The chaotic spy will finally retire this year. The successful series will be discontinued after the 14th season.

The acclaimed cartoon series Archer will air its 14th season later this year – but fans have to reconcile that that’s just it about the last adventure of the dysfunctional spy agency will be about Sterling Archer. Production broadcaster FXX officially announced this on Twitter. The new season begins August 30, 2023 on FXX and Hulu. It is not yet known when the consequences will be shown in Germany.

Archer: Chaos agent treats himself to last drink

In the 13 seasons so far, the agent series Archer has always been haywire. The self-centered top spy with a serious mother complex has not only downed countless drinks since 2009, messed with his no less quirky colleagues and survived a three-season coma, but also saved the world dozens of times along the way. This ends the cartoon series after 14 successful seasons. The Archer Cast around main actor H. Jon Benjaminwho also lends his voice to Bob Belcher in Bob’s Burgers, has received numerous nominations and awards – in 2016 the cartoon even won the Emmy Award for Best Animated Series.

Popular cartoon series also on Netflix before the end

While cartoon fans must say goodbye to Archer after 14 seasons, it says Netflix also has a successful animated series on the verge of extinction. The weird puberty cartoon Big Mouth will officially come to an end after eight seasons.
