Poco launched the F3 GT last week and now adds the Poxo X3 GT. The Poxo X3 GT is similar to Redmi Note 10 Pro but with the Poco logo on it.

Our Jibbe was already very satisfied with the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro, as can be concluded from his review: “We can therefore conclude that for 299 euros the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro is a phone that actually performs well in all areas.” The Poco X3 GT will certainly do well, although there are also some differences.

For example, the X3 GT does not have an AMOLED screen, but a 6.6-inch IPS LCD screen with the same 120 Hz refresh rate and FHD+ resolution. For protection, Poco has added Corning’s latest Gorilla Glass Victus, as well as a center notch for the 16MP selfie camera. On the back is a 64 MP main camera and it is assisted by an 8 MP ultra wide-angle camera and a 2 MP macro camera.

The phone has support for 5G and Wi-Fi 6 thanks to MediaTek’s Dimensity 1100 and in addition there is 8 GB LPDDR4X RAM and 128 GB or 256 GB UFS 3.1 storage. The battery has a capacity of 5,000 mAh and comes with 67 watts of fast charging. The phone is fully charged within 40 minutes. That is very fast, but it can be done even faster in this price range. The phone features MIUI 12.5 which is based on Android 11. Other extras include the side fingerprint scanner, stereo speakers and IR blaster.

The suggested retail price of the Poco X3 GT starts at $299 for the 8GB/128GB version, and $329 for the 8GB/256GB variant. The phone will be launched in Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Latin America and Africa. It is not known whether the phone will also come to Europe.

At the beginning of this year, Poco launched the Poco F3 and the Poco X3 Pro for 349 euros and 249 euros respectively. The first is a flagship with a powerful Snapdragon 870 processor and a high-quality display. The Poco X3 Pro is cheaper and comes with an extra camera and better battery performance.
