Aggressive prices…
The Pixel 6 has validated market expectations, Google is moving up a gear for its Pixel 7. The intentions were announced during the Google I/O and the latest statements: this flagship is in direct competition with the iPhone 14. To appeal to the public, the Pixel 7 is offered at an attractive price while remaining a Premium smartphone.
In its classic version, it is offered from 649 euros and in its Pro version, it can be purchased from 899 euros. Well below the prices offered by Apple…
In addition, the company has chosen to increase the availability of the product. Example in France: for the Pixel 6, only 700 physical points of sale offered it, the bulk of the orders being placed online on the Google store. The Pixel 7 will be distributed in 2,200 stores as well as in online platforms, such as Amazon or Cdiscount. Google wants to go all out and impose its brand in France.
Google has found its way
After a period of turbulence in the tech market (the rout Stadia being the last example), Google has been making a strong comeback in recent years. Its range of Pixel smartphones has seduced an audience in search of technological quality, sometimes hunting on the lands of Apple and Samsung. The Californian giant seems to have found its place in an often saturated sector.
