Pineapple and Pony: the middle ages cute version (Apple TV+ release)
It is now done: AppleTV+ is on the basis of one novelty per week. Today’s release is aimed at the little ones, the other “target” audience of Apple’s streaming service. Pineapple and Pony is an animated series for children based on the book by Kate Beaton (especially famous across the Atlantic). The story takes place in an extremely cute middle ages and very far from historical reality (the plague, brigands in the woods and attacks on fortified castles, it’s not here). Pomme de Pin is a warrior in training whose main friend is Pony… who is none other than a pony! “Together, they will learn that life can be a joyful adventure.”
Clearly it’s not the series that will glean awards at the next BAFTA or Golden Globes, but if you have little ones on hand, you know what to present to them this weekend. The 8 episodes of Pineapple and Pony are all available today on Apple TV+.
