Owners of Galaxy Z Fold 3 see screen burst spontaneously
Not every user of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 is equally happy with his foldable smartphone. The smartphone is now in a negative light, because the screen of the device starts to crack spontaneously.

The foldable smartphones have been around for several years and actually without any significant problems. However, that is not entirely the case with the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3. Samsung’s foldable is in the news negatively, because the screen has spontaneously burst for several users. This without the device falling or getting stuck. The damage has occurred to several users on Reddit from the middle, sometimes after a cracking noise was heard. For some users, one of the parts of the screen became unusable and unresponsive.
It is sour for the users that this happened in all cases after the warranty period. In the Netherlands you have a two-year warranty, but for the users concerned, a warranty period of 1 year is used. Samsung doesn’t seem to recognize the problem (yet), which puts the bill on the user’s plate. The amount for a screen replacement is a hefty 750 euros.
