By his own account, he is the boss of the ‘largest e-learning company in Europe’ and now he is putting his house up for sale.

You can call it a historic building. An impressive house too, this is allowed for 3.9 million euros. You get 1503 square meters for this, so big!

That brings in quite a bit of money, otherwise you can’t live in such a house. The house is in Drenthe and there they talk about a ‘Havezate’. This word is used for a large farm with land. It was in the 17e century is also a condition to possess such a Havezate for accession to knighthood.

‘The times of lords of the castle, damsels and even regular royal visits with carriages on the gravel may be bygone days, but the grandeur has never left Overcinge’, says the selling broker. The house is unique and is located between the woods and rolling landscapes. The estate is therefore called Overcinge and offers peace and beauty.

The estate has a manor house and a barn. Together they provide more than 1500 m² of living pleasure. The estate in Havelte measures a total of 53,868 m². The building itself is quite modern on the inside, but with the history that has been preserved.

Owner

Current owner is Hans van Veggel. He merged his e-learning company with another company. These companies now continue under the name Reducate. It is now, at least they say themselves, the largest e-learning company in Europe. Van Veggel makes a nice profit on sale. He bought the house in 2002 for just under 2.5 million euros.
