In one of Arcep’s recent reports, Orange was able to boast of having the best customer satisfaction in 2020. The operator can boast of having a good reputation, whether in telephony or for the Internet.
The telecoms policeman has recently taken an interest in customer satisfaction. With its J’alerte l’Arcep reporting tool, the organization will launch an observatory dedicated to this type of request. For the first results unveiled a week earlier, Arcep relies on a survey carried out by the IFOP institute dating from 2020. It is Orange which is favored by the public, whether in telephony or internet offers. .
Orange at the top of satisfaction, SFR still lagging behind
Respondents were asked about their respective operators in terms of telephony but also the Internet. For both situations, the balance of power between the companies is the same in view of the rating charts drawn by Arcep. Orange customers are the most satisfied with their services, whereas those of SFR are the worst off.
First as a mobile operator, the company’s customers give it an average rating of 7.7 out of 10. It is then Free Mobile with an overall rating of 7.6, Bouygues Telecom with 7.4. At the back of the pack is SFR with a score of 7.1. As a mobile operator, the trend is the same except that Orange and Free are tied.
As for the Internet service provider component, the situation is substantially identical. Arcep has split the Fiber offers from the ADSL. Even if the latter are doomed to disappear in the more or less near future, they represent a pool of consumers that should not be neglected. In the order of satisfaction, you will find Orange, Free, Bouygues Telecom and SFR. As you can see, Stéphane Richard’s firm makes customer quality a priority.
