Oppo Watch 3 and 3 Pro are official: stylish smartwatches

It’s the week of foldable smartphones and smartwatches. Oppo now presents the Oppo Watch 3 and 3 Pro. Two stylish models with the necessary new functions.

Oppo Watch 3 (Pro)

We already saw the new Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 this week, Oppo is also there with smartwatch news. The new Oppo Watch 3 can be recognized by the flat screen, while the Pro model has a curved screen, for an extra stylish display. The watches are equipped with their own operating system and that is striking. For example, the company’s first smartwatch, the Oppo Watch, appeared with Wear OS.

The Watch 3 watches are equipped with the new Qualcomm W5 Gen 1 chip, especially for the smartwatch. The Oppo Watch 3 will have a 1.75-inch OLED screen with a resolution of 430 x 372 pixels. With the Pro model, this comes out on a 1.91 inch screen with a resolution of 496 x 378 pixels. There are the necessary sensors, such as an accelerometer, gyroscope, heart rate monitor, SpO2 meter, ECH heart rate monitor, a barometer and a light sensor for image clarity.

For now, the two models have only been announced for the Chinese market and it is not clear whether a European release is in the pipeline.
