OPPO Find X3 Neo receives Android 12 update in the Netherlands

At the end of last year, OPPO announced that various Find and Reno devices could expect the Android 12 update from the first half of 2022. Now it’s the turn of the Find X3 Neo owners of this phone can expect a notification.

Google launched Android 12 in October of 2021 and OPPO also followed in October with its ColorOS 12 beta version based on Android 12. The manufacturer first wanted to test its software before the stable update would be rolled out. That test has been completed for the Find X3 Neo because this device is now receiving the update, reports Androidworld reader Koen. He shared this screenshot with us:

ColorOS 12 comes with new features. For example, the software has been given a new look with, among other things, 300 improved animations. OPPO has also integrated Google’s Material You design into the software, as well as the privacy features of Android 12. Long-term performance improvements have also been made, and OPPO is also coming with its own apps such as PC Connect. That’s OPPO’s software that connects phones to Windows. The Find X3 Neo has a 13 MP telephoto camera with 5x hybrid zoom and 20x digital zoom. The phone runs on the powerful Snapdragon 865 processor, the high-end chipset from last year. In addition, the Find X3 Neo has dual stereo speakers, 12 GB RAM, 256 GB storage and a 6.5-inch OLED screen as an extra to the Find X3 Lite.

The update is rolling out over-the-air to the OPPO phone mentioned above. As soon as the update arrives on your device, you will see a notification in the notification bar. You can also manually search for the update: Settings > Software update > Download and install.
