The Chinese Oppo has announced its new smartphone in the A-series. After we were introduced to the Oppo A93 in October last year, which was presented without much publicity, and was not released in the Netherlands, it is now time for the Oppo A94. Now that the device has been definitively announced, we will learn more about the device.
The Oppo A94 appears with a 6.43-inch Full-HD + AMOLED screen, just like it was with its predecessor. In addition, we see a MediaTek Helio P95 octa-core chipset, together with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage space. If this amount of memory is not sufficient, you can expand it with a memory card. Oppo provides the A94 with Android 11 with the ColorOS 11.1 skin. We also see a 4310 mAh battery with 30W fast charging and an in-display fingerprint scanner.
We see a large camera module at the rear with space for four lenses. We also see a 48MP which is assisted by a wide angle, macro and monochrome sensor. There are several additional tools available, where you can use AI Portrait Video, as well as monochrome video and dual-view video. AI is also used for the best photo quality. Oppo also offers a 3.5 millimeter connection for a headset with the A94.
Leaker Evan Blass has previously announced that the device will be released in Europe under the name Oppo A94, while it will be released in Asia as Reno 5 F and in India as Oppo F19. It is not known whether the device will also come to the Netherlands and what the price will be in that case.
