only 14% spend holiday money on tech

Tech isn’t the most important thing we spend our vacation money on. Only 14 percent spend it mainly on tech. 23 percent of Androidworld readers actually spend their holiday money (partly) on vacation and just as many readers donate it to their piggy bank. Apparently we see palm trees, sun, beach, tents, air travel and suitcases before us when we see that extra amount on our account, or a nice nest egg.

Holiday pay

The holiday money has been paid back for many people and that means that you have something extra to spend. At least, it can of course happen that you still need this extra money to pay bills. At least 9 percent does. 14 percent spend their vacation money on tech, while there are also quite a few people (18 percent) who spend their vacation money on multiple options: tech, vacation, paying bills and filling the savings account.

Unfortunately, not everyone is lucky enough to receive holiday pay, because 6 percent indicate that they do not receive it. 4 percent do not get it either, but have a personal choice budget. Finally, 3 percent indicate ‘different’, which often seems to mean that it will sit in the house. B@Zzz… is busy renovating and is even going for solar panels, while mvansluis is happy that the holiday money is finally not going to be spent in the house after two years. Drink organ, the name says it all, put it in the savings account, but first stock up on some beer.

AW Poll

We are curious what Vallinny van Stijn has chosen, because he says: “I divide my holiday money in a part for the upcoming new energy bill 😉. Tech here also costs enough power 😱😱😱”. Well, is that tech or ‘something else’? In any case, it is nice to see that many people are starting to look forward to the holiday now that the holiday money is back in their account.

Enjoy the cocktails in the pool bar, but have one backpack with everything you need and break your brain by trying to order in another language. Muy sobresaliente! See you next week, then we won’t be on vacation, but we’ll be back with you with a new AW Poll.
