OnePlus Watch gets Spotify support with major update

The OnePlus Watch comes with a lot of software improvements in a new update. Most importantly, the watch can control music via Spotify, but there are also new watch faces and improvements. We discuss them here.

OnePlus Watch and Spotify

In March, OnePlus presented its very first smartwatch, and the OnePlus Watch also passed the Androidworld editors for an extensive review. The verdict was clear: nice hardware, a lot of potential, but software that feels unfinished. OnePlus got the message and is now diligently rolling out improvements for the Watch.

Update B65 takes up 50 MB and brings a new integration of Spotify to the watch, XDA Developers know. The fact that Spotify support is coming to the Watch is quite special, because it is not a Wear OS watch, which means that OnePlus has collaborated with the music service to develop the application. Not only will you be able to control your music on the watch, but Spotify will also sync your playlists.

Other improvements

Furthermore, the Watch gets four new dials and settings on the watch for vibrate. For example, you can make the watch vibrate longer so that it better attracts your attention to notifications. Below you can find a list of things that have been improved and new functions that OnePlus has added. The update is available for Watch users in the OnePlus Health app.
