OnePlus 8 (Pro) gets OxygenOS 11.0.9.9; OxygenOS 11.0.11.11 for 8T: Here’s what’s new

OnePlus is rolling out a new update for three devices from the 8 series. Users of the OnePlus 8, OnePlus 8 Pro and OnePlus 8T will all receive a new OxygenOS update. This one brings a new patch, but also other changes.

New update for 8, 8 Pro and 8T

Three smartphones released by OnePlus last year will now receive a new update. The phones in question are the OnePlus 8, the 8 Pro and the 8T. For the first two models, this update has been given version number OxygenOS 11.0.9.9. With the OnePlus 8T, this is OxygenOS 11.0.11.11. In both cases, the changelog of the update is the same.

This means that, if you have not yet installed it, at least the Files by Google app is included. The app was previously called Google Files. This file manager makes finding files on the smartphone easier. We also see October security update and the manufacturer promises some improvements in the system.
