OnePlus 8 (Pro) and 8T are offered June update

A new update is offered for the OnePlus 8 series. The June security update is offered for the OnePlus 8, as well as for the OnePlus 8 Pro and OnePlus 8T. But the update brings more.

Update for OnePlus 8 Series and 8T

Three devices from OnePlus will now be updated with a new update. Users of the OnePlus 8, 8 Pro and 8T, all three of which come from 2020, have a June security update ahead of them. This is striking because at the end of May these smartphones were already updated with the May patch. OnePlus usually rolls out an update for this series every two months. Could this be the tipping point that OnePlus will roll out monthly updates? The update also addresses a bug in the camera app.

The update concerns OxygenOS 11.0.0.7.7 for the OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro. For the OnePlus 8T, the version update is OxygenOS 11.0.8.13/14. We have put down the changelog for you below. Keep in mind that it may take a while for everyone to see the update coming in. OnePlus is rolling out updates in phases.
