OnePlus 11 crash test a bit disappointing!

The OnePlus 11 5G smartphone ended up breaking but it is stronger than its predecessors.

Previous OnePlus phones didn’t pass Zack Nelson’s toughness tests on his YouTube channel JerryRigEverything. During a bending test, the OnePlus 10 Pro and the OnePlus 10T broke in half in the hands of the YouTuber. In a last video, Zack Nelson does a resistance test on the smartphone again OnePlus 11 5G. Let’s just say that a good case is highly recommended for this new flagship.

The test starts well and Zack Nelson even compliments the OnePlus 11 5G for its design and particularly appreciates the circular module for the Hasselblad cameras. The phone holds up pretty well to the scratch test on its 6.7-inch AMOLED screen. The Gorilla Glass Victus glazed coating indeed makes it difficult to scratch the phone screen unless you force it with a knife like Nelson. That said, the deepest gouges rendered the fingerprint sensor unusable, and the YouTuber clarifies that’s not normal. Fingerprint sensors should generally survive such scratches.

On the other hand, the screen is resistant to lighter burns. The pixels are not damaged even after almost a minute under the flame.

However, the OnePlus 11’s sturdiness easily succumbs in the bend test. The rear window cracked everywhere from the start of the test. During the second bending, the bottom edge pane directly shatters into small pieces.
