OnePlus 10T on the way; Ultra model seems to be a thing of the past
It seems that there is no new OnePlus 10 Ultra coming. A source reports that OnePlus has chosen to announce the OnePlus 10T later this year. Now the 10-series only consists of the OnePlus 10 Pro.
OnePlus 10T coming this year
According to the source Max Jambor, OnePlus would not want to release a OnePlus 10 Ultra this year. For months there have been reports and rumors about the new device. The Ultra model should be more extensive than the already expanded OnePlus 10 Pro. More models should be released in different segments, but according to Max Jambor we should not expect much more in the high-end segment. OnePlus would choose to release the OnePlus 10T. With this step, another T-model is in sight. In 2020, the OnePlus 8T appeared as an extension of the 8 series.
Previously published alleged sketches of the Ultra
Since OnePlus has already indicated that it is working on a high-end smartphone with Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset, this will probably be the OnePlus 10T. The OnePlus 10T will probably get the specs that were already circulating about the Ultra. This means 150W charging and an advanced camera in collaboration with Hasselblad. It is not yet known when OnePlus will present the new model.
