One UI 4.1.1 coming later this year
The Samsung Galaxy S22 series was the first series of devices to be equipped with One UI 4.1. In the time since, more and more smartphones from the South Korean smartphone manufacturer were updated with the company’s latest skin. On top of the newer Android version, a large number of functions are then added. During the upcoming edition of Samsung Galaxy Unpacked, probably in the summer, where the new foldables from Samsung will be exhibited.
A Samsung employee says that the new version One UI will be 4.1.1. This isn’t entirely a surprise, given that a similar jump was made from One UI 3.1 to version 3.1.1 last year. The next major update is said to be One UI 5, which will be distributed along with the update to Android 13. The first beta version of the new skin is expected this summer. What’s new in One UI 4.1.1 is not yet known. We’ll probably find out this summer when the new Galaxy Z Flip 4 and Galaxy Z Fold 4 are announced.
