OnePlus Nord 2: Presentation on July 22nd

It won’t be long before OnePlus will present one Successor to OnePlus Nord. After the other mobile phones of the Nord series left something to be desired in some areas, the manufacturer is almost at full speed with the OnePlus Nord 2. The mobile phone will be presented on July 22, 2021 at 4 p.m. German time (source: OnePlus). One of the highlights is the processor, which uses MediaTek instead of Qualcomm.

OnePlus recently officially confirmed that the 5G MediaTek Dimensity 1200 processor is used in the mobile phone. In particular, more efficient power consumption and heat management have been taken care of here. There should also be improvements in photography, which is supported by artificial intelligence. The processor offers a 5G dual SIM standby as well global 5G functionality.

The three cameras on the back of the OnePlus Nord 2 should also be impressive. The Sensor Sony IMX766, which can also be found in the OnePlus 9 Pro and allows image recordings with a maximum of 50 MP. There is also an ultra wide angle (8 MP) and a depth sensor (2 MP).

Reports suggest that the manufacturer uses an AMOLED panel for the OnePlus Nord 2 that is based on a 6.43 inches diagonal and a refresh rate of 90 Hertz comes. The battery should have a capacity of 4,500 mAh and can be charged with 30 watts. In addition, up to 12 GB of RAM and an internal capacity of a maximum of 256 GB can be expected.
