NS app updated with improvements for OV-fiets

An update of the NS Travel Planner app is available. The application has been updated with improvements for the OV-fiets, which now gives you more options in the application.

NS app with more public transport bicycle options

The Dutch Railways has released an update in the Google Play Store for the NS app. The latest version of the app, version 6.27, brings improvements related to the OV-fiets. The OV-fiets is a handy addition to public transport if you cannot or do not want to continue the last part of the journey by bus, tram, metro or other means of transport. You pick up an OV bicycle at the station, use your OV chip card and you can go out.

In the latest version of the NS app, you will immediately see in the app when you are using an OV-fiets. You will also see where you can hand it in. For example, you get an overview of the closest locations. Where you previously had to report defects via a telephone number, you can now also report defects to the OV-fiets via the NS app.
