First macOS version sighted: Notorious ransomware now also runs on Macs

The developers behind the notorious ransomware Lockbit have developed a version for macOS for the first time. The malware is also said to run on new Macs with Apple silicon chips. Lockbit hasn’t extended its claws yet.
