Not in every movie or series advertising with a cheaper Netflix subscription

Netflix makes an exception when it comes to showing advertising in a new cheaper subscription.

Whether you’re going to like it or not. Advertising is coming to Netflix. Not immediately confronting in the picture, but by means of a cheaper subscription. Keep in mind that the prices for your Netflix subscription will only increase. A cheaper alternative, with advertising, will take its place.

This subscription has not yet been launched, but it is getting closer. And so we gradually learn more and more about what to expect. According to Bloomberg, for example, not every series or movie on Netflix will have to deal with advertising with this new subscription.

There would be an exception for content aimed at children. This way children don’t get to see advertisements. A reassurance for the kids, but also for the parents. They don’t get nagging kiddos about what kind of toys they do not want after seeing commercials.

Not only that. The Netflix Original films would also not receive advertising with this new subscription. Series made by Netflix, such as Stranger Things or Squid Game, do have to deal with advertising.
