NOS for tablets gets a clear list view

The NOS has a nice update ready for tablet users. Thanks to the update it is now possible to adjust the display. That’s what it looks like.

New list view in the NOS app

Owners of an Android tablet or Chrome OS tablet can now customize the display of the NOS app. You can choose between the standard view or the new list view. Once the update for the app is installed on the tablet, a notification of the new feature will immediately be shown in the lower right corner. The ‘more simplistic list display’ according to the NOS can be set there immediately.

This list view shows two articles with a large photo at the top of the screen (the top stories) and below that a simple list of articles and small photos next to them. The list is interrupted by the so-called Short form videos. These are the short vertical Instagram-style videos where you can easily swipe to the next video. Those short videos are part of the major update that the NOS app received in April.

Customize news list display

Do you want to adjust the display of the news list on your tablet? Then follow the steps below:

1. Open the NOS app
2. Tap on Lake via the three dots at the bottom right
3. Scroll down to Settings and info
4. Tap below Display on Wide screen list view
