Nokia rolls out October security update for Nokia G20, 5.3 and 2.3

Nokia is rolling out a new security update for three of its smartphones. It is an update for the Nokia G20, the Nokia 2.3 and the Nokia 5.3.

October Patch for Nokias

Three devices from HMD Global receive a new update. A new patch is available for the Nokia G20, the Nokia 5.3 and the Nokia 2.3. Nokia has started distributing this new patch in several countries, including Europe. This means that we can also expect the update in the Netherlands. The updates are each a few tens of MBs in size. No new functionality, just a new security update.

In all three cases, it concerns the October security update that is made available by Nokia. Because Nokia is rolling out the updates in phases, it may take a while until everyone sees the new security update rolling in on his or her smartphone.
