Nokia G50, X20, Galaxy A33, OnePlus 10T and Realme 8 receive update; Poco X3 NFC gets MIUI 13

A lot of updates have been distributed by various manufacturers. Users of various Nokia, Samsung, OnePlus, Poco and Realme devices can now download a new security update on their device.

Updates at Nokia

We’ll start with the updates at Nokia. The smartphone manufacturer is making a new update available for the Nokia G50 and the Nokia X20. Jan reports a 42MB major update on his Nokia G50, with the August security update being rolled out to the phone. Furthermore, no new functions or changes are noticed. It seems Nokia has put a little more focus on rolling out updates; that has not always gone smoothly lately. Nokia is also rolling out the August update for the Nokia X20, Marcel reports to us.

Poco and Samsung

Poco and Samsung have also prepared an update. The Poco X3 NFC receives a major system update that also brings the July security update, Ruud reports. The 2.7GB major update also brings MIUI 13 with plenty of new features such as large wallpapers and improved widgets. There are also improvements for the sidebar and Poco promises many other improvements. The Samsung Galaxy A33 is the next device to receive an update. It will get the August update, along with stability improvements for the camera.

OnePlus and Realme

A major update is being rolled out for the OnePlus 10T. This smartphone is being updated by OnePlus with a long changelog. Improvements in system stability are mentioned, as well as various optimizations for, for example, the screen, the stability of apps that run in the background and the recognition algorithm of the fingerprint scanner. There are also many improvements for the camera.

Realme has also prepared a new update for the Realme 8, Adrie informs DroidApp. It is a 577MB update and it addresses several vulnerabilities in the operating system; after all, it is the security update of August that is being rolled out for the smartphone. Stability improvements are also promised by the manufacturer.
