Nokia 6.2, 7.2, Huawei P30 Pro, Nova 5T and Honor 20 Pro get security update

Nokia, Honor and Huawei have released a new security update for various devices. It concerns a total of five devices for which a different security patch is available. We list the details.

New security updates

Every month Google rolls out a new security patch for Android. Manufacturers can then get started with this. That is happening now. Three manufacturers are rolling out a new security update for their devices.

Marck informs us that his Honor 20 Pro will receive security update January 2021. It is an update of 134MB and has version number 10.1.0.275. The software update only brings the new security patch. A lot smaller is the update that is now being rolled out for the Nokia 6.2. Anton says that security update February 2021 will be rolled out for the phone, with this update also appearing for the Nokia 7.2. The update is 4.59MB in size.

Ryzkov informs DroidApp that his Huawei Nova 5T also sees a new update coming. The smartphone will receive security update January 2021. This update is 135MB in size and has been given version number 10.1.0.316. Neely has received the January security update for the Huawei P30 Pro with a size of 136MB. The version number of this update is 10.1.0.201.
